Take the 614 from Måløy to Floro, near the village Svelgen is an exit towards the small village Sande; follow this road through Sande till the road ends (20min). The bunkers lay on the edge of this peninsula Aspenes.

There is a nice Vf7a ammunition bunker with lots of original wooden ammunition boxes inside. There are several supporting bunkers such as some nice shelters and a Tobruk65a for a 5cm KwK. There is also a flag-pole who looks very old and could be of German origin?

Måløy.
WB Norwegen, Art.Gr. Nordjfjord, H.K.B. Blaali 46/981, 4x10,5cm.

In the village Måløy, underneath the huge bridge at the dock area lies a small park were the battery is located.

This battery was involved in the raid on Måløy; in 1941 a combined Allied battle group raided the town of Måløy with its important industrial facilities. This raid was also to recover information about German coastal defence and it served as a strong signal to the Germans that the Allied forces were still capable for offensive attacks. The raid consisted of several landing points in the Måløy area were the commandos were departed. The landing units were covered by naval and air units. The operation was successful although there have been some heavy fighting around the town.
The battery Blaali has today only some emplacements left; emplacements for 10,5cm guns. In the middle of the battery is nowadays a nice monument for the fallen soldiers.
When you enter the dock area, you come across two ST bunkers; a small 668 personnel bunker and a 612 casemate without its flanking wall. These two bunkers doesn't belong the actual battery but we combined them.

Types:
3x Gun emplacement for 10,5cm K331(f).
1x 668 Small six-man bunker.
1x 612 Embrasured emplacement for assault guns without annex room.
1x Gun emplacement.

WB Norwegen, Art.Gr. Nordjfjord, H.K.B. Halsör 2/981, 4x10,5cm.

North of Måløy, along the 714 lies the village Halsor. Just follow the coast road and you'll see the bunkers on your left and right.

The battery is very common; four open emplacements (two are easy visible) for a 10,5cm field gun and a  Vf Fire-control bunkers in the centre. The supporting bunkers, all light constructions are on the other side of the street. There is a small MG post with still the iron connecting point for the machine gun left.

We added a second MG post to this sheet; it is actually located more to the north-west of the island near the town Refvika but for the convenience we added it to this location.

1x Gun emplacement for 10,5cm K331(f).

Take the ferry from Måløy to Oldeide (Bremangerlandet); follow the road to the left in the direction of Lageide. Follow this road, the 616 till the exit towards Hamnen (this is a tunnel). When you exit the tunnel, directly turn right into a small housing estate. Park the car and walk for 20min towards the point.

This battery is one of the most interesting ones we have visited in Norway; the amount of objects and the condition of the bunkers makes this very special. They are all beautiful constructed in the rocks and so there camouflage is absolute state of the art. There are lots of foundations for barrack,  Vf personnel bunkers, emplacements for Flak and searchlights and lots of special buildings. Like the sanitary building who is almost ready to use and a nice harbour facility. The battery has three 13cm guns, one of them remains today, the second one is partly there and the third one is gone. These guns are not the original ones who participated in the Måløy raid in 1941; in 1941 the Allies launched an attack on the village Måløy to destroy the important industrial facilities, to gain information and to show the Germans their capability to attack. The battery Nordfjord fired on the invading ships which ended in a long shootout but quit rapidly the old Germans guns jammed. After the raid they reinforced the area and they brought in new guns; the Russian 13cm Naval guns.
The gun looks today, in sunny weather, absolutely beautiful, a highlight in our bunker history!

WB Norwegen, Art.Gr. Nordjfjord, H.K.B. Skarsten 4/981, 4x10,5cm.

On the island Bremangerlandet, south of Måløy, is this battery located. From the junction with the 616 and a smaller road inland, take the last one towards Lisete. Follow the road till the village Skarsten and the bunkers will be visible next to the road.

The battery, four times 10,5cm guns with additional bunkers is a common kind of light battery. There are remains of the 10,5cm guns and the emplacements have two small shelters for personnel and ammunition. There is a nice  Vf garage for a PAK gun with the additional emplacement nearby. The underground system is quit big; there are several entrances and lots of rooms. The battery was undergoing a make-over; there is a foundation of a 636 fire-control bunker and a foundation of a 671 casemate.

3x Gun emplacement for 10,5cm K332(f), fourth one no pictures.

Follow road 15 from Måløy to the east; in the small village Almenning just 10min outside Måløy is a small road that leads backwards along the coast. At the end of the road, near some houses is the battery located in the forest.

We have found two of the four emplacements for a 10,5cm gun, together with two small emplacements for light Flak. They are all hard to find because of all the vegetation. We found a text inside the to the emplacements added shelters "Rauchen Strengsten Verboten", which means smoking prohibited. There is a 667 casemate near the battery, we add into this location. The bunker is at the other end of the bay and walking is the only way to reach him, which we didn't do because it is quit a long walk so we took some long-distance shots.

Types:
2x Gun emplacement for 10,5cm K331(f).
2x Flak 2cm emplacement.
1x 667 Small embrasured emplacement for 5cm tank gun.

Måløy.
WB Norwegen, Art.Gr. Nordjfjord, M.A.A. 504 Torpedobatterie Angelshaug, 2x45cm.

Follow road 15 from Måløy to the east, take the exit to the village Almenningen and follow the road backwards along the coast. The bunker is hard to find and not visible from the road, a large green shed on your left next to the road might serve as an indicator because there is the stairway down to the water and the bunker. For the exact position of the bunker see our GPS data.

The bunker, a torpedo bunker for 2 times 45cm tubes according to the sources, is under construction and has never been finished. Only the walls are standing so it doesn't look very impressive. But the location of the bunker neat the water and the stairs through the woods make it a nice place. On top of the hill next to the shed are also some remains such as a small emplacement.

Types:
1x Sk Torpedo bunker for 2x45cm (n).
1x Gun emplacement.
1x Vf shelter.
1x Possible German foundation of the shed.
