This location can be found in the village itself. Walk to the beach and from there into the dunes at your left. The bunkers are in use by a local bunker foundation WOVIJ, and are normally closed.

The bunkers that can be found are: a 'Mammut' radar bunker, a navy personnel bunker type M 151 and a regular personnel bunker, type 621. The V143 Mammut bunker is very special because its radar systems were used to spot objects at sea, not in the air like most of the Mammut bunkers. The bunker is also extremely well preserved for this type. There are lots of original parts are still present. The second bunker that is now in use by the WOVIJ is the M151 personnel bunker. Around the location there are several small bunkers like 'Küver's ' and Vf bunkers. On top of the dunes stands a Vf observation post.

1x M151 Quarter for 1 officer, 2 NCOs and 24 privates.
1x 621 Group bunker.
1x Küver 450a+453 group bunker for 12 men.
1x Vf observation.

Wijk aan Zee, south side.
WBN, KVA Amsterdam, Festung IJmuiden, Seezielbatterie M.A.A. 201 Wijk aan Zee, Wn. 66, Bpt. 66.

You can find this battery in Wijk aan Zee. It is located at the south side of the village .When you drive along the coast road in the direction of the factories of Corus, you will find them.

This battery consists of three casemates and one fire control post. They are in a good condition and easy to visit, because they are located just beside the road.
The fire control post is now a restaurant and is re-painted in camouflage colours, It is quite an original bunker type in Holland and the two cupola's in the front of the bunker look impressive.
Two of the casemates, type 671 are open, the third one is still closed. Note the nice concrete camouflage patterns on the bunkers.

3x SK671 Embrasured emplacement for central pivoting gun (120º) without annexes.
1x M120 / M 473a Fire control post for 17cm battery.
