Wassenaar, Wassenaarseslag.
WBN, KVA Amsterdam, Freie Küste Katwijk-Scheveningen, Stp. XXXVII H, Bpt. 204.
At the north side of Den Haag/Scheveningen lies the village of Wassenaar. It has an entrance to the beach at the Wassenaarseslag.
At this point there are some remains left, but most of them are covered with sand and are behind barbed wire, where you are not allowed to come.
The restaurant "de Badmeester" lies on the former 612 bunker for a for Pak 4,7cm anti tank gun. A little bit more inland and along the walking/cycle path, lies a bunker that was a kitchen combined with a water storage. Some parts of the building are demolished. Just beside this building is an other water storage building situated.
When you follow the walking path for about 300 meters, you see on the right the Vf observation bunker. You are not allowed to enter this terrain! In the same area there are still more objects located and connected with each other by tunnels and corridors. In the winter time there are bats housing here and because of some bad construction parts of the tunnels, visits are not longer possible.
