Dutch, Q-line Defence line from Delfzijl-Hoogeveen.
During the initial stage of WW2 the Dutch military build along there east borders and often along rivers and streams, small MG bunkers of the type "Stekelvarken-kazemat" or "S-kazemat". There where build over 700 of these simple bunkers all over the country an you can encounter them everywhere.
Start at the Wijmeesterbrug and follow the canal to the south.
