Ouddorp, De Punt.

On the west-south side of the island, there where a new dike has been built as a connection to the next island, "De Punt" is located.
Since 2 years a group of volunteers are busy with researching and searching the bunkers that were built during the war on this location. They are really successful and got some financial funds and the cooperation of the land owner "Staatsbosbeheer" for excavating and developing the complete Widerstandsnest. They are still digging and finding new objects, but so far they have made a marvellous job by making the bunkers sand free and developing the terrain in a beautiful show place.

The location will be officially opened on the 5th of Mai 2012 and then all the objects will be open to visitors, so please wait a sortwhile?
The location is still prohibited terrain with intensive control and 100% sure you get a fine when you are inside….!

Ouddorp, Prikpolder.

Driving over the island along the N57 between Ouddorp and the Brouwersdam you find, in the dike at the waterside, a small bunkergroup. You have to park your car at the secondary road and walk over the dike towards the bunkers.
The complex has been renovated some years ago with funds from the EU.

Ouddorp, Klarebeekweg
WBN, KVA Dordrecht, Stp.Gr. Goeree, Wn. 229 L, Scheinflughafen.

Just outside the village of Ouddorp, at the Klarebeekweg, was during the war a German Scheinflughafen. (fake air-strip) Now still left is a "Blinkfeuer-bunker" that stands for "flashlight-bunker" and that had to give the Allies the impression that there was an airfield in operation.

Ouddorp, West Nieuwlandseweg.
WBN, KVA Dordrecht, Stp.Gr. Goeree, West Nieuwlandseweg, KSS.

In the Springertpolder at the West Nieuwlandseweg, in one of the dikes, you find a telephone bunker with the number G6. Nowadays they have made a steel platform on it as "lookout" over the polder.

Ouddorp, Hofdijksweg.
WBN, KVA Dordrecht, Stp.Gr. Goeree, Stp. Truppenverbandplatz.

On the edge of the village of Ouddorp, on the north side along the Hofdijkseweg, lies the former dressing station for the Stützpunkt Goeree.
The Germans built two small hospital bunkers and two big hospital bunkers with toilets facilities and water storage.
On the complex also a Kabelschaltstelle G7 was built, for making telephone connections, with 2 meter thick walls.
