Excavated R502 bunker in Willemsdorp.

In November 2012 I got information that the location of a "as demolished marked" 502 personnel bunker had been found. Arrangements were made with the property owner about how the bunker could be excavated and maybe used. The location is situated on a holiday park with cabins and houses.
They started to open up the place by cutting down a lot of trees and bushes, growing over the location. The bunker was closed for about 25 years or more and was used in the past as a disco on a camping. When they opened the bunker in 2013, there was about 40cm water inside and a lot of sand and rubbish in the corridors.
When the outside was cleaned and more sand and earth had been removed, they discovered by surprise that there was a 2cm Flak emplacement (probably) situated on the roof of the bunker. The emplacement is still in good shape and on the edges there are still some numbers used for indicating the "firing section". This 502 personnel bunker has also a covered corridor over the whole front with the original German bunker number still visible 502 - 9508. A small roof over one of the exits, is added after the war.
The bunker contains two emergency exits, but only one is completed with the outside semi-circle brick wall. Probably the other hasn't been built.

ATTENTION:
The terrain is on private property and you have to ask permission at the reception, before you may enter !
You need also permission of the official users of the bunker now it is open !
