This major location can be found south of IJmuiden, near the southern side of the harbour and the marina. You can park the car at the large parking place and then follow the path that lead you trough the dunes and to the bunkers. Most of the bunkers can be entered but are in a poor condition. The fire-control post (Leitstand) M178, can also be entered, but the lower level can only be entered trough a gap in the floor so be careful, the inside has completely burned out. Around the battery are several Vf. bunkers and 134 ammunition bunkers build, inside one of them is still a name/number, Marine-3.
South of the battery you can find a Flak emplacement with an attached living quarter, the bunker was build for a 2cm light Flak.
The Kuver bunkers, two times 451a are completely renovated and refitted by the organisation WN2000, the bunkers are open at several dates and they have a nice collection of WWII items and information about the bunkers in IJmuiden. This battery is just like the battery Olmen a very nice example of how a complete battery would have looked liked.
In 2009 they had a project to rebuild some trenches in stone and wood wish connect some bunkers behind the museum with each other.
