In the small village called Dirksland on the island of Goeree-Overvlakkee, my bunker friend Fred Schults found a tiny air raid shelter/Luftschutz bunker in the garden of a private property.
The current owner told him that this shelter was built because of the over flying V1 rockets from Rotterdam/Pernis towards the harbour of Antwerpen in 1944.
At an other location is an other shelter resting, but at the time Fred was there nobody was at home to ask permission to enter this private property.
