Renescure II
V2 storage facility
At the village Renescure along the D406 nearby Bloemstraete you can find these enormous storage locations for V2 rockets.
In this area the Germans made a storage facility with more then 350 buildings on 1 square kilometre of land. They were build between the local houses and woods so they had a natural camouflage.
Those buildings where made of "Formsteine" (pre-fabricated blocks) and where not really "bunkers" like the one's we know.
Nowadays the storage buildings are used by the local farmers for there business.
We where passing the location in a touring car and didn't had the opportunity to stop and make better pictures of this impressing site.
