Grand Fort Philippe.

West of the town Grand Fort Philippe, in a field near some apartment buildings, several bunkers have been built. The bunkers lay in a field and can be reached easily.

This site has a lot of bunkers on a small space. The bunkers, 10 in total, have been built in a line (it is actually a small dike) and they stand very close to each other. The two St. bunkers, a 612 casemate and a nice 134 ammunition bunker are both open. Two of the three personnel bunker type Vf.2a are still open also. Note the nice gun emplacement in the middle; it has a small garage next to it and a ramp to bring the gun onto its emplacement. On the far side of the dike, covering the west side, is a nice Vf. LAG bunker (Landungs Abwehr Geschutz) or casemate for a small calibre gun.

West of Grand Fort Philippe, near Wn. Luise is a KSS located. Follow the road from Wn. Luise towards Les Dunes D'Oye. Take the first road to the left. Take the road to the left at the first junction and continue. The bunker is clearly visible in a field.

The bunker, a 4mx4m KSS (Kabel Schalt Stelle) or communication bunker, is open and inside is some sort of number (3CTT ) written on the wall.
